FEVER is a ten-part documentary series focusing on the triumphs, travails, and tragedies in motorsports, whether it’s drag racing’s “Surfers” at Bakersfield 1966, the relentless devastation at Indianapolis in 1973, fist-fighting at Daytona in 1979, drug running at LeMans in 1983, or the supersonic speed trials at Black Rock, Nevada in 1997.
Don Prudhomme. Alex Zanardi. Shirley Muldowney. Swede Savage. Craig Breedlove. These are some of the courageous men and women wired on maximum velocity who have put themselves in jeopardy pursuing fame and immortality by punching through the barriers of technology, safety, and human endurance.
